Billing Manager (Leesburg, VA)

Simms Showers LLP in the Leesburg office is searching for a skilled billing manager with 3-5 years of experience with running billing for a business or a law firm. Experience with the accounting program Timeslips would be preferred. Duties would include running billing for 6+ practice areas, creating attorney compensation reports and referral reports for attorney payroll, helping to answer any client questions, setting up new clients in the billing system, and helping to train new personnel on billing as needed.

This position would be a full-time associate position (40+ hrs) with significant benefits. Salary is based on experience and benefits include health insurance options, paid sick/vacation leave, 401K retirement with 4% matching program, cash balance program and profit sharing.

Mid- to Senior-Level Litigation Associate (Leesburg, VA)

Simms Showers LLP is currently seeking a well -qualified applicant for a mid- to senior level litigation associate attorney position in its Northern Virginia office to join our team of renowned attorneys. Simms Showers LLP is looking for someone who is looking to settle down in the Northern Virginia area, to network and grow a client list in the Northern VA/Leesburg area.

The qualified applicant should have approximately 5-10 years of active litigation experience, with proven ability to handle all aspects of litigation practice without extensive supervision. Virginia bar license is required; other bar licenses are a plus for qualified candidates. Excellent legal writing, analysis and drafting skills and a strong academic record are required. Litigation experience in personal injury, commercial and employment litigation, with portable business or a strong potential for business development are a plus. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and business potential.
