Civil Litigation Paralegal
Daniel serves as the Civil Litigation Paralegal at Simms Showers. His responsibilities include drafting discovery documents and pleadings, researching legal questions, corresponding with clients, and performing other aspects of case management. He also assists the attorneys by communicating with insurance companies, medical providers, and government entities to ensure our clients get the best possible result from their civil case. Daniel primarily assists attorneys H. Robert Showers and Kyle D. Winey with personal injury, employment, insurance, and business law cases.
Daniel graduated Magna Cum Laude from Patrick Henry College with a Bachelor’s degree in Government, with a concentration in American Politics and Policy. During his time at PHC, Daniel served as a research editor on the Patrick Henry College Undergraduate Law Review, competed with the college’s Moot Court and debate teams, and represented the school as Student Body President.
